Corporate Plaza was located in the Corporate Center district of Central Night City.

Overview

When Richard Night founded Coronado City, he planned the Corporate Center to be a super-modern shining beacon of enlightened capitalism, and as its crowning jewel, the Corporate Plaza. This area was the regional headquarters to some of the most powerful megacorporations in the world, where they built the tallest high-rises in the later renamed Night City.

Corporate Plaza was a circular area extensively serviced by the city transit. There were three large transit stations arranged around the circle of Plaza Drive, which encompassed the whole area, and one large station on the western side of the inner area. These stations served both the NCTC buses and the NCART maglev subway. Fallout shelters (shared with the nearby City Center) were located in the subbasement of the plaza, with an occupancy of around five thousand people.

During the day, you were able to easily encounter executive and service personnel, shoppers, as well as NCPD and corporate security. During the night, the number of shoppers and residents decreased, while the percentage of police, security and service personnel increased. The NCPD took special interest in watching over the border between Corporate Plaza and Lake Park, as well as all the transit stations.[1][2]

The Night City Holocaust completely devastated Corporate Plaza and its surroundings. Its ruins would become the center of the Hot Zone.[2]
