This article is about the location in 2020 Night City. For the location in 2045-2077 Night City, see Hall of Justice.

The Justice Court was located in the City Center district of Central Night City.

Overview

The Night City Court of Justice was never a pleasant place to go, but a lot of cyberpunks ended up visiting it more than once.

The entire building was done in brutalist-style, from the giant pillars ringing the exterior of the building to the four-meter black steel interior doors set in the cold, smooth stone walls. Everything in this building was over sized, designed expressly to intimidate anyone who crossed the threshold through the six meter front doorway, which included portcullis. Inside, sounds echoed as in a giant tomb, and in the foyer stood a large, automated security drone. It looked like a truncated cone equipped with multiple sensors and weapons, and nobody really knew whether or not it was a stationary emplacement, nor anyone wanted to find out. It was a gift to the city from the Arasaka Corporation, donated in 2009, two days before the corporations hit the local mafias during the Mob War.

Civil concerns were handled on the lower floors, where the architecture was a little more friendly. This is where a person went to file birth certificates, transfer titles etc. But they made you pass through the criminal section before you get there.[2]

The building was abandoned after the Night City Holocaust and a new one was built in the Glen, to the south.
