Health in Cyberpunk 2077
Health is a crucial gameplay mechanic in Cyberpunk 2077, influencing player vitality and combat effectiveness.
Overview
Health is a measure of your vitality, starting with 100 Health Points. Your base Health increases by 5 each time you level up. Health regenerates on its own up to 60% of the maximum outside combat, and the Nourishment status effect doubles your Health regeneration rate outside combat.
Stamina and Armor
Dodging, dashing, and attacking deplete your Stamina, and reaching 0 Stamina will severely reduce melee attack speed until recovered. For every 10 points of Armor, you reduce incoming damage per second by roughly 1 point. Cyberware is the main source of armor, with some clothing providing slight increases through intrinsic modifiers. The maximum amount of Armor is capped at 2000, with a damage reduction bonus capping out at 1500 Armor for a 50% reduction.
Adrenaline and Mitigation
Adrenaline is gained when the Adrenaline Rush Perk is activated and is indicated as a yellow bar that acts like extra Health. Mitigation Chance determines your chance to mitigate attacks, starting at 0% by default, while Mitigation Strength decreases damage taken from a Mitigated Hit by 50%.
Carry Capacity and Critical Hits
Carry Capacity determines how much weight you can carry, while Crit Chance determines your chance to deal a Critical Hit, which deals 50% more damage by default.
