Rainbow Nights Dance Club
Rainbow Nights Dance Club was located in the Corporate Center district of Central Night City.
Overview
Rainbow Nights was a fairly large 24-hour club, whose main attraction was the huge dance floor that was almost always crowded. Most of the acts were local small-timers, with crowds being consistently large, but generally tractable. Every night there was a live band, usually no one important, but once or twice a month, however, they got a big headliner, like Johnny Silverhand and Kerry Eurodyne, though only under different names. When that happened, the neighborhood choked up with a huge number of boosters, chromers, and just plain rowdy kids. The crime rate in the area went up on these nights, and the City and corporations deployed extra NCPD officers.[1][2]
The club occupied the entirety of a large, low building covering almost half the block. There was a main entrance out front, and a smaller, secure entrance on the back alley. There were fire exits all around which could be opened from the inside only. The roof was empty. Inside there was an enormous dance floor with a stage at one end and a bar at the other. There were offices located in the large backstage area.
Security was tight at all times, and doubly so when they had a big act. Unless you got a ticket, it was not likely you were getting in.
Thanks to the popularity of Rainbow Nights, local bushiness such as Rael's Bodysculpting and Tattoo, Robbie's Monster Subs or the Sunset Bar and Grill saw an increase in customers. However, some of that "unique" crowd could make things a little bit rowdy for those establishments.[1]
The nightclub was destroyed during the Night City Holocaust, when one of the collapsing Arasaka Towers fell on top of the building, obliterating everything in its path.[3]
