Chinese Consulate

The Chinese Consulate was located in the Corporate Center district of Central Night City.

Overview

Serving as the consular building for China, this place provided the same services as most other neighboring consulates, but in a somewhat lower key than either the Soviet or EEC offices. All personnel lived in the building, and security was a detail of fifteen plainclothes Chinese diplomatic police. The Chinese consul-general was never seen outside of the building.

• The number on the map in Night City Sourcebook mistakenly puts the Chinese Consulate over the Soviet Consulate when it should be where the Mexican Consulate is located.
