The Uptown Mall was located in the Northside District of Central Night City.

Overview

This building was renovated by a contractor and turned into an indoor mall. Unfortunately for him, the mall attracted more gangs than it did regular shoppers. By 2020, the entire building was one giant gang hangout. Almost a dozen gangs claimed small sections of the mall as territory; accordingly, the space was filled with businesses equipped to better serve the clientele.

Within the mall one could find weapons shops carrying anything from pistols to illegal automatic weapons, black market drugs, joy girls and generally the worst wares Night City had to offer. Upton Mall was a very dangerous place to be after dark. The gangs were very territorial and often killed at the slightest offense. Occasionally, just to make a point, the Slaughterhouse came across the sidewalk to do some damage to the lesser gangs residing here.
