Tune Up[Trivia 1] is a Side Job in Cyberpunk 2077.

Walkthrough

After V's car is wrecked by the divergent Delamain Cab, V is contacted by Delamain to visit Delamain Corporation's headquarters on Pajaro street in Vista del Rey, Heywood, to assess the damages done to V's vehicle and receive compensation.

When V arrives at the location and enters the building, it is evident that they are not the only one that was attacked by a rogue cab, as numerous other Night citizens are there to file a complaint against the company. As V cuts in line and talks to the receptionist—which is currently running on a subroutine of Delamain's core. After V's identity is confirmed, Delamain himself will take over and talk to V and apologizes to them, and explains to V that they are currently occupied dealing with an internal crisis. As compensation for their damaged car, Delamain transfers V a sum of 4900 eurodollars.[Notes 1]

Journal Entry

Fender benders are a dime a dozen in Night City. A Delamain though? A first, I'm guessing. But now he wants to hand out compensation for damages? That's just downright suspect. Way I see it, he's got a the AI equivalent of a gun pointed at his head, and this message is nothing but a coded cry for help. Nobody, and I mean nobody, doles out compensation for a little chipped paintwork. Go and see what this is about - worst case you come out a little richer.

Objectives

  • Go to Delamain HQ.
  • Talk to the receptionist.
  • Talk to Delamain.

Notes

  1. After the money is transferred, the job will complete, and the follow-up quest "Epistrophy" will start.

Trivia

  1. The job is named after the Miles Davis song "Tune Up" from the 1956 album "Blue Haze."
