The Lake

The Lake was located in Lake Park, within Central Night City.

Overview

Lake Park's body of water was built with the rest of the park around 1994. It had a built-in filtration system that was run every day by the Park Department. During the hot days, the lake was used for swimming and water sports, as long as the filtration system worked. If it didn't, the waters smell like raw sewage and people stayed clear of its surroundings. The nearby fire station was allowed to use its waters if any major fire breaks out.

The lake had two major islands, Isadore Island and The Picnic Grounds.
