Night City Medical Center (Bank Block)

Night City Medical Center was located in the Bank Block district of Central Night City.

Overview

This building was one of the largest hospitals in Night City, and it was the closest thing the metropolis had to a medical school and research hospital center. While not in the business of accepting charity cases, this institution did treat patients who subscribed to most of the available health insurance plans, and it accepted emergency and trauma team cases. The triangular main building offered these services due to its reputation and because it was also adjacent to the rectangular building, which held the hospital's and Night City's most prestigious medical school.

Security throughout most of the building was reasonably light, with notably strict areas confined to the VIP wards, emergency room, and the biomedical research areas. There was an armed security team on call at all times. Hot areas of research at the medical school were bio engineered enhancement and augmentation, and biological nanotechnology (biological computers, memory systems, and biological/cytological micro-robotics). The building included AV landing pads on the roof of the main building.
