Stamina is a crucial gameplay mechanic in Cyberpunk 2077, affecting various actions and abilities of the character V.

Health Points and Regeneration

Players start with 100 Health Points, which regenerate on their own up to 60% of the maximum outside of combat. Health can be improved with Body perks.

Stamina Mechanics

Dodging, dashing, and attacking deplete Stamina, and shooting ranged weapons drains Stamina with each shot. Reaching 0 Stamina will severely reduce melee attack speed.

Hydration and Status Effects

Consuming drinks can earn the player the Hydration status effect.

Armor and Damage Reduction

Armor reduces the amount of damage taken, with Cyberware being the main source of armor. The maximum amount of Armor that one can have is 2000, and the damage reduction bonus caps out at 1500 Armor for a damage reduction of 50%.

Adrenaline and Perks

Adrenaline is gained when the Adrenaline Rush Perk is activated and is indicated as a yellow bar that acts like extra Health. Adrenaline decays over time, which can be stalled by the Calm Mind Perk.

Mitigation and Carry Capacity

Mitigation Chance determines the chance to mitigate attacks, starting at 0% by default. Mitigation Strength decreases damage taken from a Mitigated Hit by 50%. Carry Capacity determines how much weight a player can carry.

Critical Hits and Cyberware Capacity

A Crit Hit deals 50% more damage plus additional damage based on Crit Damage. V starts with 24 base Cyberware Capacity at level 1, which increases by 3 each time V levels up, capping at a base value of 201 at level 60.
