Hotel Tropique

Hotel Tropique (also referred to as Hotel Haiti) is located in Coastview, in the Pacifica district of southern Night City.

Overview

During the 2060s, Hotel Tropique was intended to be built as a five-star luxury hotel in Pacifica, part of the Grand Imperial Mall facilities. During the Unification War, the building was abandoned. By 2071, Hotel Tropique was shadow of what it was supposed to be. The neon signs had long since gone dark and dirty, while the smog-smudged windows had been power-washed by acid rain for over two years.

In 2071, a braindance studio known as Brainwave moved into the lower floors of the hotel in order to record their next project.

• Its other name likely refers to the hotel's builders, since the Haitian community was heavily involved in the construction of Pacifica.
