The Cut-o-Matic is a cheap, plastic, motorized chainblade. While utilizing the Cut-o-Matic, it is not possible to perform Stealth actions, as the sound it generates alerts enemies and scares away any inhabitant of Night City.

The Cut-o-Matic is the ultimate proof that weapons are nothing more than toys for adults. Its flashy design and menacing whirr of its blade make every Night City maniac fall in love at first sight. This unique piece has all the makings of a cult classic, but there's a reason its manufacturer has the word "Budget" right there in its name: shoddy workmanship, cheap parts, awkward balancing, and most of all – a capricious motor that tends to choke at the worst possible moment. All of these relegate the Cut-o-Matic to the status of a curio, used only by the craziest NC thrill-seekers.
