The Bay Area Rapid Terror (BART) was a gang operating in Night City.
Overview
In 2020, the Bay Area Rapid Terror were a deadly nihilist gang operating all over the Free States of North and South California. Their main base of operations was hidden in the basement of the Balboa Aeronautics Headquarters in Night City. The gang's leader, Patty Hurst, was also based in NC. She lived a double life, one as Patty, the BART leader, and another as Julia Jones, a lieutenant in the local Mob. No one in the mafia knew of her gang affiliations, and if she was to be discovered, she would definitely be killed.
The only other nihilist gang in Night City at that time was Death in the Afternoon. There used to be a third one, but they made the mistake of attacking an Arasaka facility.
Once, the BART attacked the Pack, a group of homeless people living in Lake Park. Fortunately for the later, a famous solo known as Andrew Scythe protected them from the gang.[1]
Trivia
- The gang's name is a reference to the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), a public transportation system serving the San Francisco Bay Area.
