All Foods Factory
The All Foods Factory (also known as the All Foods Protein Processing Plant or All Foods Plant) is a defunct factory located in Northside, in the Watson district of northern Night City.
History
This synthetic protein factory was once owned by the food and beverage giant All Foods, who used these facilities to produce protein slurries that were marketed as "meat" or close enough. At some point, this Night City branch was shut down unexpectedly, with the factory being abandoned. Soon enough it became overrun by members of the local Maelstrom gang, who turned the place into one of their main hideouts in Watson.[2][3]
Unlike the Totentanz club, the factory was a completely restricted area with high security and 30-40 gang members at the site.[4] Patricia, the main lieutenant of the gang's leader Brick, conducted business with their mole in Militech from here,[5] and it was also the main hideout of Royce, a gang member dissatisfied with Brick's leadership.
In 2077, Royce planned to stage a coup and tried to meet with Brick.[6] The leader initially refused,[7] as he was confident in his position.[8] Only when Royce messaged Brick to come to the production floor with all of his guys,[9] Brick realized he might be in trouble and told his supporters to go into hiding.[10] Once Brick arrived by himself the next day, he was captured and imprisoned in a makeshift cell by Royce,[11] while he and his lieutenant Dum Dum took over the gang.
At some point that same year, mercenaries V and Jackie Welles came to the factory to pick up a Militech MT0D12 "Flathead", which was bought from the gang by the fixer Dexter DeShawn. They were initially welcomed by Dum Dum, Kurt and Lars, but came into conflict with Royce, when they brought up that Brick already received the payment for the bot.[12]
