Reported Crime: Dangerous Currents

Dangerous Currents is a Reported Crime event in Cyberpunk 2077.

Walkthrough

On Waldrop street, near the MedCenter in Little China, Watson, V encounters several Maelstrom members; 2 Goons, 1 Scout, and 1 Maniac.

The Maelstromers are surrounding a derelict vehicle with a cache in its trunk, that contains a shard that can be read. The shard contains the coordinates to an offshore cargo cache.

If V follows the coordinates to California Ave in Little China, they can find the already unlocked sunken cache containing a coat and a body-presumably that of Mike-just off the docks, close to the rear of the Konpeki Plaza hotel.

Journal Entry

Excise duty, audits, taxes, bribes, queues... If you want to transport something legally, you have to jump through a lot of hoops. So it shouldn't come as a surprise that many take shortcuts. Though as we all know, shortcuts can be dangerous...
