The Nue (Japanese: 鵺) is a Power Pistol manufactured by Tsunami in Cyberpunk 2077.

Characteristics

The Nue is a semi-automatic pistol that fires heavy .45 caliber ammunition. The grip is fitted with rubber for a more ergonomic feel. The weapon comes equipped with a magazine indicator, showing the user if the weapon is loaded or empty. Iron sights are manufactured to allow optimal targeting in dark environments, and an LED indicator allows the user to know when a bullet is chambered.[1]

The Nue is Tsunami's foray into the mass market and has been a driving force in the company's profits. It continues to be heralded as the highest quality pistol one can buy. It is seldom seen in the hands of enemies outside of the Valentino gangoons who repurpose and decorate their pistols as they do their most prized vehicles and clothing, saying much for the value of the Tsunami Nue as a quality side arm.

It is possible to install a Short Scope and a Muzzle attachment.

TSUNAMI NUE

Tsunami Defense Systems is known best for its elite and dizzyingly expensive sniper rifles, but more of the Japanese company's products are beginning to gain traction on Night City's streets. Take their flagship pistol, the Nue, for example. Unlike the Ashura or Nekomata, the Nue's design is not founded on any bleeding-edge technologies. But what it lacks in innovation, it makes up for in worksmanship. Elegant, reliable and deadly, the Nue is the unchallenged leader of the pistol market. The only debatable flaw is a size that can prove difficult to conceal. Still... Who would ever want to hide such a masterpiece?[2]

    • The pistol's name is derived from the Nue - a creature of Japanese mythology similar to a Chimera.
