Overview

The Science Tower was the heart of the Night City University Engineering School. Its reflective silvered windows could be seen from one corner of the campus to the other.

The tower contained classrooms for Engineering, Physics, Astronomy and Astrophysics. Three elevators serviced the upper floors, the top of which held the Engineering Department offices. The first two floors were filled with multi-curriculum study cubicles, in which students could review the prepared coursework for their classes. The cubicles were able to download the coursework to students for study later. Many cubicles were equipped to allow students with the necessary neural interface wiring to plug in directly. Fax printer scanned printout hardcopies for those who preferred it that way. The study cubicles took the place of much of the classroom study in old-style universities, which freed up the professors for personal instruction time with individual students.

Extra class space for the School of Business department at the Howard Wong Building, and the departments at the Humanities Building, were taken in this tower.

This building was interconnected to the surrounding Science Labs, Knute Hall and Robinson Hall.
