Radio Silence? Never Again!

 — Arasaka ad, Chromebook Volume 2

In an age where information is power, private communications are as important as armor! Arasaka's Electronic Countermeasures (ECM) module, when attached to any radio or telephone unit, scrambles all communicated messages according to a preset pattern. Only another comm-scrambled radio or phone set to the same combination can then understand the message. Arasaka guarantees that their Scrambler package will stump any decryption system on the market today for at least 300 seconds. Since the scrambler only consists of a small assortment of microchips and a small control panel, the entire unit is very small (capable of fitting inside most handheld radios or phones) and requires a Difficult Electronics roll to install in one hour.[1]
