M-205 Grenade Launcher
M-205 Grenade Launcher is the military's 40mm grenade launcher. The M-205 is usable as an under-barrel weapon, attached to a rifle. It is also usable as a weapon on its own. It is a single-shot, breech-loading grenade launcher, made out of polymers and composites. Other than that, it is not notably different from the launchers in existence 45 years ago.[1][2]
