Kevlar (RED)
Kevlar is a synthetic fiber used in various armors within the Cyberpunk RED universe.
Description
Kevlar is a heat-resistant, synthetic, lightweight fiber that has been favored for protection for the last 90 years. It can be made into vests, jackets, and business suits. In the context of Cyberpunk RED, Kevlar serves as the basis for three types of armor known as Light Armorjack, Medium Armorjack, and Heavy Armorjack.
Light Armorjack
Light Armorjack is an armor that combines Kevlar and plastic meshes, providing better protection against high-velocity bullets. Unlike Leathers and Kevlar, Armorjack is not concealable, although the Mimic Clothing Kit and the Dirk Combat Jacket are partial exceptions.
Medium Armorjack
Medium Armorjack is positioned as the midpoint between Light Armorjack and Heavy Armorjack. It utilizes solid plastic plating reinforced with Kevlar mesh and is considered typical street wear, offering decent protection and cost.
Heavy Armorjack
Heavy Armorjack is the heaviest of the three Armorjack types. It combines denser Kevlar with a layered mix of plastic and mesh weaves.
