Stickball

Stickball is a sport popular in Night City during the Time of the Red, often used by gangs to resolve conflicts without resorting to lethal violence.

Gameplay and Rules

Stickball is played with three players on each team, and players do not substitute when one is injured. The playing area consists of three circles and six X's, with three electrified metal balls placed in the center circle. The objective is to get all three balls into the team's designated circle. Using an actual vehicle is prohibited in the game.

Stickball is a free DLC released by R. Talsorian Games for Cyberpunk RED on May 25, 2023. This DLC includes full rules for the sport as played by gangs in Night City, emphasizing the use of electricity and blunt force trauma instead of firearms.

Equipment

The Stickball Stick is a weapon specifically designed for the game. It is a modified lacrosse stick that cannot kill or cause critical injuries but can render a person unconscious. The Stickball Stick deals an additional 1d6 damage for each stickball ball it carries. Additionally, Stickball Sanctioned Rubber Ammunition is a type of ammo modified for use in the sport, ensuring that it cannot cause any form of injury.
