Can be found on John Dalton's body in a dead end at the storage facility, to the west of the Ventura & Skyline Data Term, on Skyline South in The Glen, Heywood.

This conversation and the scene where the shard is found are references to the 2003 South Korean film Oldboy, which is a loose adaptation of the Japanese manga of the same name. "Evergreen" is the alias of the mysterious man who locked up the film protagonist.

The in-game scene is a nod to the hallway fight scene from the film, where the protagonist fights a group of thugs with a hammer and ends up stabbed in the back with a knife. In the game, the shard owner also carries a hammer and is stabbed with a knife. ru:Архивный диалог: Джон Далтон и Кипарис
