Karubo Bairei

Karubo Bairei is the owner of the Jacked and Coke bar in Cyberpunk 2077.

Biography

Bairei killed some of Padre's friends and fled Night City in the past. When he returned decades later, he was in charge of the Jacked and Coke bar, a hideout for the Valentinos.

For his actions, Padre put out a contract for Karubo's elimination. Martha Liu also wished to take revenge on Karubo for unknown reasons, but was killed by Militech in the Badlands in an unrelated incident before being able to find him herself.

You'd be hard-pressed to find a conscience in Night City that isn't heavy with some kind of regret, but there are few who could even imagine the atrocities Karubo Bairei has committed. Twenty years ago, he was the terror of Night City. He murdered entire families, practically doing backstrokes in pools of their still-warm blood. Then, all of a sudden, Karubo vanished. Most assumed he finally met the fate that he deserved, rotting in a gutter under a pile of cigarette butts and pizza boxes. But recently Karubo has made his return to the city. Twenty years older, twenty years calmer. He's hidden himself in a dive on Clarendon Street with the hopes that the city has forgotten him... But it hasn't. And it never will.
