Jonas Collinson

Jonas Collison is character in Cyberpunk 2077: Ten of Swords.

Biography

In 2070, during the end the Unification War, Jonas was one of the last FIA agents still on active duty in Night City. Their last mission was to neutralize Murata Ozuru, an admiral of the Arasaka Corporation. Before they could proceed with their assignment, President Myers called them off and to return to the NUSA. Despite the orders, Jonas decided to continue the mission on his own, sabotaging the AV Ozaru was going to board, and succeeding in his intent. He did this to impress his senior agent, Solomon Reed.

Unfortunately for Jonas, he was tailed by Arasaka to his No-Tell Motel room. Despite being tortured, Jonas never revealed any information regarding his operations in the city. During the FIA evacuation of Night City, Solomon went to the motel looking for Jonas, only to find his colleague tided to a chair in the bathroom. An Arasaka assassin was waiting for Solomon right around the corner, but thanks to Jonas' muffled warnings, he swiftly dealt with him, and after untying his coworker, he punched him. Solomon was convinced the death of Ozuru and his family were Jonas' doing, to which he replied that only Ozuru was supposed to be there, prompting Reed to quote that they should always gather intel and wait before proceeding with a mission, spiting out he should have left Jonas to Arasaka. The young agent admitted the blame, saying he did it only to impress him. Despite Jonas' incompetence, Reed proceeded with the evacuation.

At a parking lot, both agents rendezvous with the extraction vehicle, whom refused to take two passengers as they had only paid for one. Reed gave his place to Jonas, who was very grateful for his senior, stating he was a good man.

Notes

• Song So Mi did not hold Jonas in high regards, stating to Reed he should not bother about helping him in leaving Night City, as in her opinion, Jonas would not think twice about abandoning them.
