In 2020, DATA INC. was a business found within Night City at New Harbor's Mallplex. They were one of few stores which carried netrunning programs, and was favored by many novices. DATA INC. also secretly registered its customers on a database which may have been accessed by corporations looking for potential employees (or threats) in exchange for a hefty fee.[1]

In the 2070s, Data Inc. could be found all over Night City as evident signage placed on the buildings.[2]
