Herschel's Crematorium

Herschel's Crematorium is located in the Reclamation Zone of central Night City.

Overview

This funeral home is ran by an undertaker called Herschel, who believes everyone deserves a dignified sendoff into the next life, thus he is willing to take on charity cases. To afford it, he accepts donations, including from edgerunners, and sweetens the deal by allowing them renting space in the funeral home, besides the dead. Herschel is also willing to deal with the deceased of the poorest in the city, and in exchange for an additional fee, he will cremate their remains and give the ashes to the family. The establishment is protected by the Tombstone Preservers gang.

Being a family business, Mrs. Herschel works at the funeral home as well, making the faux flower arrangements. Herschel Jr. attends Night City University, while helping his parents after the classes. The family are Buddhist vegetarians and will feed the same food to anyone staying with them as long as they respect the dead. This last part is important, as there have been a couple of incidents in the past for that same reason.
