Bear's

Bear's is a bar located in the Glen district of central Night City.

Overview

This establishment was named after its proprietor, a big, hairy man called Bear. Nevertheless, it was also known for the moth-eaten bear head sitting above the bar area, an animal that had supposedly been killed by Bear's great-grandfather.

The bar was famous for its microbrew beer selection, offered alongside a limited menu of SCOP burgers and fries, chili with kibble, and tofu hot wings. The owner's deep rolling laugh could be easily heard over the clink of beer mugs and the low hum of conversation. For him, a successful beer needed to be thick and rich, similar to a liquid loaf of bread, and despised the practice of covering up inadequate flavor with excessive chemicals. Due to his love for ale, Bear's had several apprentice brewers.

Known Drinks

• Bear's Berry Beer: This was Bear's signature drink during the 2040s, costing 10eb per mug. It was a strong ale with pureed blackberries poured in for secondary fermentation.
