Aarno is a former Militech soldier and the husband of Teresa. Together they had a daughter named Oriona, with whom he had a strained relationship as he disapproved of her being a mercenary.

After Oriona and Teresa's deaths, he became the sole caretaker of his granddaughter Wayra.
