Arasaka TKI-20 Shingen

The TKI-20 Shingen (Japanese: 信玄) is a Smart Submachine Gun manufactured by Arasaka in Cyberpunk 2077.

Overview

The TKI-20 Shingen is a compact, bullpup loaded, 3-round burst-fire submachine gun based on Arasaka's trusted weapons platform. It shares many of its features with the HJKE-11 Yukimura pistol. It has a magazine capacity of 30 rounds.

In order to use the weapon's Smart targeting system, Smart Link cyberware is required to be installed in the user's palm. If combined, the effective damage of the weapon is doubled.

Due to the addition of the Smart targeting system, it is not possible to install a Scope and Muzzle attachment.

ARASAKA TKI-20 SHINGEN

Japanese culture loves smallness. Just look at the tiny, intricately crafted netsuke sculptures or the bonsai trees that fit into flowerpots. Shingen, the smart-machine-pistol made by Arasaka, is a love letter to Japan's passion for miniatures. It's hard to believe that the Shingen's stopping power, magazine size and numerous technical features fit into such a small body. Throw in an ergonomic design, tracing rounds and fast reload speed and you're looking at the dream gun of every soldier and mercenary.

A high-quality smart submachine gun from Arasaka. Very easy to conceal, as it is short, and thanks to the detachable magazine, shortenable. Like all smart weapons, it is equipped with a smartlink in the grip and uses caseless, self-propelled and self-guiding ammunition.

Trivia

• Like many Arasaka-manufactured weapons, the name is a reference to a famous Japanese daimyō. In this case, it is Takeda Shingen.
