I don't know exactly how to best formulate my thoughts at the moment (quite late here on the American East Coast,) so I'll just go through responding to the paragraphs you typed up in your most recent message as of this post:

Especially since CDPR will be working on another Witcher game after they're done with all the content with 2077. I'm not saying they're not going to make sequels, but for the foreseeable future it's not likely we'll hear of Cyberpunk (2090 or something) until after the release of their next Witcher game. Like I said I've done a lot of research and Mike Pondsmiths universe has culminated with 2077 it's a continuation of his vision and not separate."
Not much I can say here, regarding Edgerunners, but I think it depends on how separated they are, and what qualifies as needing separation. If, say, BudgetArms has 5 types of shotguns in 2077, and 3 of them show up in 2020, and the other 2 are "2077-ized" versions of 2020 guns (BudgetArms C-77 instead of C-13, for instance), then I think it's fair to group them under one big overview page, or under the actual Corporation. But if 2077 adds in a completely new corporation that adds branded guns of rip-off manufacturers, then I think that constitutes as a split.

It's great to look to other wikis for an idea on how to grow, but we forget those wikis got there through trial and error. They got where they were through years of dedicated fans and content. Our wiki was started for 2077, a game that hasn't been released yet and some are talking about the future of the franchise. Instead of thinking about trying to play catch up with other wikis let's work towards making this wiki for Cyberpunk 2077 first."

Of course, of course. It's perfectly understandable to be worried about this kind of thing, especially when your only basis of game are 30-20 year sourcebooks and a constantly delayed new Tabletop (CP RED) and the video game itself (2077). That being said, I don't see it as much catch up so much as "These wikis managed to catalogue and document decades of information from across board games, comic books, guidebooks, game guides, and the video games themselves. Let's see what they did to do so, so that we can replicate it to improve our wiki." You might have a different interpretation of that, but that's what I think.

"Down the line we sure will have separate pages like the standard 'Night City' page and 'Night City (Trigger)' page to differentiate the anime and game. Same with 'Arasaka' and 'Arasaka (Trigger)' as for now all the info on the pages are still canon and are closely related. I do understand what you're talking about I've seen other wikis do it before, but right now in time I think we should focus on setting up a good foundation on just Cyberpunk 2077. Not the future franchise, but instead focus on the game releasing in 5 months because that's going to be a lot to unpack already. I get everyone here is eager to get things going, but maybe we're getting ahead of ourselves. I hope everyone can see where I'm coming from, and hopefully we can move to improving the wiki by focussing on 2077."

To be honest, I don't think that central locations and key organizations, factions, and so on should need splitting from product to product, unless they drastically differ from media to media (book to game to television), but if it needs doing, I suppose it's only right to split it. Of course, I also understand what you mean. People are going to want to use this wiki for 2077, nothing else. At least at first, from now until maybe 3-4 months after release. That being said, I think it's also good to keep in mind that at least... I'd wager 25% of 2077's fans know about, have played, or have passion for 2013, 2020, and so on. And with that, will come to enjoy or at least have interest in RED, the tie-in between 2020 and 2077, and the game itself. So while trying to split ourselves between solely the old and solely the new, it would be bad, I agree. But taking things one step at a time, shifting from a 2077 article and edit here, and a 2020 article or revision there, wouldn't be as bad. That's a drastic simplification, since there's far more 2020 content than 2077 content at the moment, but I think that gets my point across. 

And with that, there are my thoughts. I look forward to what you or others think of them. Comments, critiques, and so on are welcome, but for now, I shall look at whatever ones have been made when I get some sleep and awake in a few hours.
