The

Most pages that have a "the" in the title can be quite troublesome to deal with. I propose something similar to V's page. Move "The Mox" to "Mox" and display it as "The Mox". This way we can deal with linking to the page without problems be it "the [Mox]" or "[Mox]es" or "[Mox|The Mox]". Also, normally the "the" are left out of names for this reason. --Ryon21 (talk) 22:55, 25 May 2021 (UTC)

Question

"The Lizzies" is also the name of an all-girl gang in the 1979 film "The Warriors". Should that be noted in the Trivia section? I intended on doing so, but hesitated when I realized it might not be considered relevant. I'm not even sure anyone in CD PROJEKT RED would've heard of that movie, let alone seen it... --Reikson (talk) 06:24, 21 December 2021 (UTC)

Also, I can't believe that nobody's ever seemed to have made a connection to Lizzie's real-life namesake. I mean, the axe alone! --Reikson (talk) 06:31, 21 December 2021 (UTC)

Looking at it, they definitely could be inspired by it. It's something to maybe ask during a developer stream on Sunday. ArasakaApart (talk) 08:06, 21 December 2021 (UTC)

Overview Copyright Infringement

The first sentence of the Overview states: "The Mox are relatively small, non-territorial, and consist of mostly sex workers, anarchists, punks, and sexual minorities." This is nearly identical to the entry for The Mox in The World of Cyberpunk 2077, which itself states: "The Mox are a small, nonterritorial gang, consisting mostly of sex workers, anarchists, punks, and sexual minorities." -Batylda, Marcin. "Gangs: The Bad and the Ugly." The World of Cyberpunk 2077, 2020, p. 131. Please be aware that paraphrasing something from a publication with only a slight re-wording is still copyright infringement. If we're going to paraphrase a quote, we should just quote it directly and then immediately follow it with a citation. An endnote citation is not added for The World of Cyberpunk 2077 until after the sentence following the paraphrase. I'm relatively new to editing on Fandom, so I don't know how to either better re-word the overview itself to communicate the same idea without copyright infringement, nor how to place the real quote in a quote block. Can someone please make the necessary change? MateoDojima 14:49, 4 November 2023 (UTC)

I'll rewrite it to something different. --Ryon21   (talk) 18:15, 4 November 2023 (UTC)
Return to "The Mox" page.
