The Synaptic Accelerator is a cyberware for the nervous system in Cyberpunk 2077. It slows down time by 20-50% for 2-4.5 seconds when enemy detection reaches 50%. This ability has a cooldown of 60 seconds and can be purchased from any Ripperdoc after reaching level 10. The rarity of the Synaptic Accelerator increases every 10 levels.

COX-2 Cybersomatic Optimizer

The COX-2 Cybersomatic Optimizer is a variant of the Bioconductor cyberware for the frontal cortex. This implant allows users to deal critical hits with quickhacks, increasing the critical chance by 80-100%. However, it reduces maximum RAM by 8-4 and can be purchased from Dogtown Ripperdocs or looted from airdrops.

Cyberware Acquisition and Upgrades

There are several rarity levels for cyberware acquisition, and cyberware can be upgraded in rarity with item components at Ripperdocs. Cyberware can be installed or exchanged at Ripperdocs in Night City, and specific iconic cyberware can be acquired from airdrops in Dogtown. The player can install cyberware in different body slots, and having at least one cyberware installed in all slot types unlocks an achievement. Cyberware gains specific stat bonuses at different rarity tiers, and upgrades to another tier will offer different bonuses.
