Overview

Space Force One is the Presidential spaceplane of the New United States of America. It can perform atmospheric flight and VTOL flight, and its interior is similar to modern private jet cabins. The president's office is located just over the canards of Space Force One.

Hijacking Incident

In 2077, President Myers was aboard Space Force One when it was hijacked. During the hijacking, the communications of Space Force One were jammed, and its trajectory was changed towards Night City's Dogtown. As the aircraft neared Night City airspace, a missile struck it. Song So Mi contacted a merc named V for help during the hijacking. So Mi managed to get President Myers into the spaceplane's saferoom and later got into the emergency lifepod before the crash. The lifepod fell on the eastern side of Dogtown after ejection, while Space Force One crashed-landed on the western side.

Aircraft Specifications

The SV I-12 Coda I has been the mainstay of Space Force One in recent years. The Coda model is much lighter and faster than the Griffin 414. The office area of the Coda was reduced to accommodate NUSA agents comfortably and was reinforced with prototype shock-dampening fibers made by Militech. This aircraft is notable for being the first presidential aircraft equipped with combat bots.

At the time of the hijacking, Space Force One's location was northwest of Los Angeles, with a calibrated altitude of 81,200 ft and a ground speed of 804 knots. The heading of the spaceplane was 341, and its registration number is "N28701-7620."
