Sony

Sony Corporation, or Sony, is a Japanese conglomerate introduced in Cyberpunk 2013.

Overview

Sony is a Japanese multinational conglomerate headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. Its diversified business includes consumer and professional electronics, semiconductors, gaming, entertainment, and financial services. By 2020, it had partnered with Arasaka, becoming Arasaka-Sony Corp.^[1]^[2]

Sourcebook Description

Sony in the 2000s collaborated with Arasaka to produce a new line of weapons.^[2]

The International Electric Corporation is a huge force and a solid competitor in the consumer electronics market against brands like Sony, Mitsubishi, Braun, Whirlpool, and Klemperer AG.^[3]
