I ain't gonna talk about Internet. Just do as they say. They don't own the Net; They are the Net.
The Internet Phone Corporation, often referred to simply as Internet, is a corporation in Cyberpunk 2020.
Overview
Internet is a name used by a conglomerate of different phone service providers which for the most part function independently of each other, meaning that while highly decentralised it is technically the largest conglomerate in the world.[1] The Internet is who provides people with their Net Access Code which they require to access the Net, charging a flat rate of 30eb per month.[2]
A majority of the Internet's customers are megacorps, giving them a major stake in corporate affairs, but they much prefer to stay neutral as they are aware that going to war would mean an economic collapse that neither side would win.[1]
