Biography
In 2044, Destiny began working for Network 54 as an on the spot reporter in Night City. By 2045, she had gained a small reputation as a media, but not enough to guarantee her stories would make it on air. Ambitious, canny and resourceful, Destiny was eager to climb the ladder and earn her spot as a TV newscaster. That same year, Hondel got an email about an upcoming event at a garage in South Night City owned by real estate agent Jack Skorkowsky. Once there, Destiny managed to obtain footage about an explosion, though she was not able to find out who caused it. While spending her time in Kasim's coffeehouse, a group of mercenaries investigating the explosion traced her location. She was willing to talk and negotiate with them about her footage, but was wary that other medias would try to steal her story. Nevertheless, the mercs gave her information about the culprits, an infamous gang known as the Bozos. This knowledge prompted excitement from her, as the Bozos civil war was a trending topic in Night City at that moment.
Destiny's report on the Bozos war and the havoc scavver gangs caused on the city, which she titled Bleeding Night City Dry, became an instant hit on news outlets, increasing Destiny's reputation.[1][2]
