Arasaka Nowaki
The Nowaki (Japanese: 野分) is a Power Assault Rifle manufactured by Arasaka in Cyberpunk 2077.
Overview
The Nowaki is a powerful, 24-round, burst-fire assault rifle. The weapon has a slow firing rate, but has incredible stability and recoil control, lending it almost surgical precision in combat. It is incredibly precise for a weapon of its age and material construction. In many aspects, the Nowaki is considered to be the predecessor of Arasaka's current flagship rifle, the HJSH-18 Masamune.[1] The weapon's primary drawback is the large rail mount that obscures the wielder's vision, particularly with a large scope attached.
Database Entry
ARASAKA NOWAKI
This classic rifle manufactured at the dawn of the 21st century possesses a unique shape, design and color-scheme that delivers one clear message to enemy targets and competitive rivals alike: I am Death incarnate. With its sharp angles, raw steel build and a trigger that just begs to be pulled, one look of it is often enough to send streetpunks running scared from Arasaka's agents (as if they didn't already have a good reason). Even today, more than a half-century after its conception, this rifle commands respect on the battlefield and on the city streets. Of course, flashier weapons with new features and higher rates of fire have been invented in that time, but, in skilled hands, the Nowaki remains a dominant force to be reckoned with.
