Overview
By 2045, the AV-4 continued to be used for security enforcement and emergency purposes by police forces and Corporations, including Trauma Team International and cybersquads.[1]
The AV-4 was originally developed as a light assault aircraft that could operate in close urban areas, especially in places that could not be reached by rotary and tilt-wing aircraft. Being short, bulbous, and with rudimentary maneuver wings, it had the "aerodynamic characteristics of a rock", and its thrust turbofan engine kept it aloft via brute force alone.[1]
