Riders on the Storm is a side job in Cyberpunk 2077.

Walkthrough

Some time after nabbing Anders Hellman from Kang Tao, a distressed Panam Palmer calls V with a request to come meet with her at the Aldecaldos Camp in Rocky Ridge.

Upon asking her what happened, she tells V that Saul Bright was taken by a group of Wraiths while he and some others were out on patrol, and that they've been observing their camp in Sierra Sonora ever since. Panam asks for V's help in this matter, and promises to give them Mitch's Overwatch in turn.

After agreeing to help, Panam and V make their way to Mitch to get briefed, but instead only find Carol, Cassidy, Teddy, and Bob. Carol tells Panam that Mitch will be back shortly. As V leans on the car, Panam proposes a stealth plan where V sneaks into the Wraiths Camp, while she provides cover from a vantage point. They finish wrapping up the plan as Mitch returns, interrupting the bickering going on between the Aldecaldos.

Mitch proposes that V takes a look at the Wraiths Camp themselves using the drone that Mitch sent flying overhead. Using the drone, V observes the camps gate and perimeter, identifying the camps defenses. While observing, Panam asks V to inspect the tire tracks and the truck, before asking them to inspect the main building where Saul is most likely being kept. Having gathered enough intel, V disconnects from the drone.

Mitch, Panam, and V walk towards Villefort Columbus, in which they plan to approach the camp, but before setting off, Mitch advises that V take a SuperJet with them for when they find Saul. It should help with leading him out of the compound safely.

Upon closing up to the camp, Panam will mention an incoming dust storm, indicating that they have to move quickly if their plan is to succeed. After arriving at the camp and parking the van in a safe spot, V infiltrates the main camp and is able to find Saul in the basement if the main building.

If V took the stealth approach:

Upon exiting the camp with Saul safely, the trio rode off in the van to safety at the Ingalls' Farm, where they spend the night to recover and avoid the dust storm.

If V took the loud approach:

Upon exiting the camp with Saul, the trio rode off in the van chased by Wraiths, which they had to fend off. Due to the dust storm, they managed to reach the Ingalls' Farm safely, where they spend the night to recover.

In the morning, Panam thanks V for their help and gives them the promised Overwatch.

If V has the masculine body:

Before riding off, Panam pulls V close, giving them a kiss as a thank you for their help.

OK, this must actually be pretty serious. Tough chick like Panam wouldn't call you up for some chump chore. Must be something important. Wouldn't waste any time on this one if I were you. To the Aldecaldos' camp we go.

Notes

• The Problem Solver, an iconic variant of the Saratoga, can be found on the Wraiths Boss Hunter standing near the main entrance to the camp.
• Combat during this job is optional, as Saul can be rescued by using the sewer pipe access if one has high enough Technical Ability.
• Before turning to sleep, V is able to make an advance on Panam, which she will reject, as she considers it not to be the appropriate timing for it. For masculine V, Panam will reciprocate with a kiss the next morning when V questions her about the previous evening.
• After sleeping, V is able to talk with Saul Bright outside the Ingalls' house.
• Starting the job and then leaving the area for too long will result in Panam sending a message saying that Saul is dead, and the job will be failed. As this will make the follow-up missions unavailable, this will preclude romancing Panam as well as "The Star" ending.

Trivia

The job is named after the The Doors song "Riders on the Storm" from the 1971 album "L.A. Woman."
