Shard page format

I have a couple points and a question for everyone here that is adding/editing shard pages.
We should, together, choose a proper layout for these pages. Some have locations, some dont, some have the little Cyberpunk2077 image at the top, some dont. Some pages have "[[PAGENAME]] is a readable ..." and some dont. I've been adding related quest and related shards to the ones I add, But I don't know if that works for all of them or just specific ones. Perhaps a separate category of shard...

No infobox. Notes, Trivia, and "See also" can be omitted in the absense of such info.

As for your questions:

I included it for consistency with other wiki pages e.g. Corporations, Bioware. Some franchise wikis (e.g. Fallout) require game badges on all pages. Cyberpunk wiki policy doesn't mention such requirement but it might be implied. Admin confirmation is needed.

{{PAGENAME}} is a magic word that outputs the current page title, but it's OK to also spell out the shard title as is in the intro.

Location info can be useful for people who'll want to find this shard in-game and not just read about it.

Taking notes about where each shard was found during playthrough.

I suggest mentioning the quest in the "Location" section. For example, "Found during the ... quest inside ..." or "Found <there>. This location is visited during the ... quest."

A quest link alone without context may be confusing. (Is the shard a quest objective? Does reading this shard start this quest? Or does the shard just happen to be in the same place where the quest takes place?) More details never hurt.

I like this! Deus Ex wiki also has related links in transcripts: 1, 2, 3.

Checking Over

Hi,

It looks pretty good. As you can imagine, everything is still being setup so layouts are a bit scattered still.

I would move the locations section below transcripts for this and, as Sugarhoney pointed out, add the quest name it's found in (if applicable) first, then a small description of where exactly. If there happens to be shards that aren't found in certain quests, can just put the name of the location itself (most of the places are named in the game so shouldn't be too difficult for that).

As for the opening sentence, yes, that's fine, though I might refrain from saying it's readable as, by default, almost every shard in the game is readable, and instead only put when it's not readable there (or, as on quest I did, if it's encrypted, but even then you can read it once you decrypt it). So for example most would just read "Pagename is a shard in..." and the few odd ones like "Pagename is an encrypted shard..."

Now for the game icon thing, we're still sorting that out and may end up changing that slightly later on, but for now when you can, add it to the top of the pages just to make it easier to denote which game(s) the article is related to (if anything, I can run a bot later to mass edit them if we change the icon coding a bit). I think it is good the format you have shown. You can proceed to follow to use that as you wish on the Shard related pages. I see in game specific shards can be found in many places on map, so make sure you add all the locations.
