Kansas
Kansas is a state within the United States of America.
History
The state has been devastated by droughts and global warming causing it to become a dust bowl desert. The entire western half of the state has been abandoned to its fate, having been designated as a new Indian reservation and therefore ineligible for any state support. One town called Hydropolis focused on hydroponics and has been successful enough to attract the attention of some lower-echelon executives from Biotechnica.[1] As of the 2070s, Kansas was home to many syn-meat farms.[2]
