Night City Today (NCT) is a mediacorp based in Night City.

Overview

2020s

During 2020, NCT was the most popular mainstream news outlet in Night City. Headquartered in the Upper Marina district, Night City Today had locally produced editorial content which was added to a nationally distributed news product for piping into all screamboxes across the city. It was considered the kind of news outlet that depended on lurid headlines for circulation, rather than on hard-hitting journalism.^[1]

2040s

During the 2040s, Night City Today covered every topics: body lotto numbers, gossip, opinions, streets to avoid due to unscheduled demolitions, local sports, technology, weather (including blood rain), lifestyles, people's misfortunes to cheer up the readers, business, among others; but most important — actual news about local and world events. NCT was available in data terms, agents, or readers could directly download the news to their brain.^[2]^[3]

2070s

NCT was still active during the 2070s.^[4]
