Overview

A Night Market is a type of semi-illegal temporary market popular in Night City during the Time of the Red. These markets are established sporadically and temporarily, usually when Nomads come in with a big shipment of illegal merchandise. Stalls are mounted onto trailers and set up in shipping crates, and access often requires an invitation or password. Frequent Night Markets are set up by powerful Fixers, including notable figures such as 3-Piece, Woodchipper, Molly Anderson, Mister Kernaghan, Ms. Mynah, and Rex Royale.

Minimallism

Minimallism is located in the Rancho Coronado suburb of Night City and was a popular mall prior to the Fourth Corporate War. By 2045, it is a former shopping mall where a Night Market is held every 5th day of the month. The building is inhabited by reclaimers who grow food in their gardens, and Ms. Mynah oversees a section of the mall. She sends five hundred passcodes via ZPost for invitations to the Night Market, which is secured by competent, polite edgerunners. The bazaar in Minimallism became popular by 2045, offering the illusion of an ongoing bazaar.
