Overview

Update 2.3 is the twenty-first patch for Cyberpunk 2077, announced by CD Projekt RED on June 5, 2025. Initially scheduled for release on June 26, 2025, the update was delayed until a later date on June 23, 2025. It was showcased during a REDstream on July 16, 2025, and officially released on July 17, 2025.

New Features

The patch introduces 4 new vehicles and the AutoDrive feature, which allows for autonomous driving to chosen destinations or leisurely rides. Additionally, Update 2.3 brings Cyberpunk 2077 to Mac with Apple silicon. The CrystalCoat™ feature is unlocked through specific side jobs or by purchasing vehicles, and it is now available for vehicles from partner brands, including motorcycles.

Gameplay Improvements

Update 2.3 includes various gameplay improvements such as the addition of 27 new NPCs in Photo Mode, the ability to switch between alternative outfits for NPCs, and a confirmation pop-up when exiting Photo Mode. Other enhancements include improved light movement speed on controllers, new stickers and frames for screenshots, and a new Time and Weather Tab with various weather options.

Bug Fixes

The update addresses several issues, including fixing unique color schemes for specific vehicles, improving the sound of V's Radioport, and resolving various localization issues. Additionally, it fixed an issue where automatic weapons fired slower than intended and improved the HDR Setting screen.

Minor Jobs

Update 2.3 introduces two minor jobs: Freedom and Motorbreath. Freedom requires V to complete Transmission and Search and Destroy, as well as the first three races of The Beast In Me. The job involves going to Coronado Dam and a construction site in Rancho Coronado. Motorbreath involves auto theft, chasing a Semimaru, and checking the highway in Watson.
