Port of Night City
The Port of Night City was a significant location in central Night City during the Time of the Red, characterized by its unsafe environment and a predominance of illicit activities.
Location and Structure
The Port of Night City was located along the coastal area of the South City district of central Night City during the Time of the Red. It was mostly made up of warehouses, flophouses, smash-houses, docks, and other derelict buildings. The port was situated inside a combat zone, making it unsafe for legitimate activities. Few legitimate businesses survived by catering to gang members, addicts, and criminals. Parts of the seawall were constructed by the lowest bidders and were barely maintained.
Cargo Operations
By 2045, the Port of Night City became a central location for cargo entering and leaving the city by sea. The cargo operations at the port were secured mostly by nomads from the Thelas Nation.
Management
Calypso was appointed as the local city manager of the Port of Night City.
