Overview
The Quadra Turbo-R was introduced as America's response to Japanese sports car manufactures. It was designed and built in Detroit. With its powerful turbo-charged V8 engine, it instantly became a star in the tuner scene when it was released in the mid 2050s, this was despite its universally criticized suspension. The next version introduced in 2058 was named the Turbo-R V-Tech, and featured an improved exhaust system and suspension, quickly earning it the status of cult muscle car. The most recent version, introduced in 2069, never surpassed the legendary Quadra Turbo-R '58 in the eyes of the many car enthusiast.[1][2]
Upgrades
Specifications
The vehicle is powered by CHOOH2, a standard synthetic alcohol fuel.
The Turbo-R 740's styling is reminiscent of 1980s exotic sports cars, particularly the Ferrari Testarossa and Lamborghini Countach, as it is wedge-shaped with bulging wheel arches. It has an aerodynamic rear spoiler, grey paint, and numerous light strips serving as brake lights.
The Turbo-R appears to have no rear bumper, leaving the car's exhaust visible. Two people can be seated in the car. Structural bracing protrudes from the door sills, and the dashboard features carbon fiber and several screens indicating the vehicle's status. Essential information like current speed and engine RPM are shown in a heads-up display (HUD). The gull-wing style steering 'wheel' has two handles for the driver to use.
The car is rear-wheel drive, with the rear tires larger and wider than its front ones. Additionally, the car's exhaust manifold and air intake are visible on the rear, and its mid-mounted engine can be seen by opening the hood. The vehicle's storage compartment is in the front, and can also be opened.[citation needed]

QUADRA TURBO-R 740
At the beginning of the 21st century, American cities were flooded with Japanese sports cars: reliable, fast, affordable. But the release of the Quadra Turbo-R proved that the decline of the American automotive industry had been greatly exaggerated. The Turbo-R instantly became of a classic of its type, a dream on four wheels. It stole the hearts of car lovers everywhere with its powerful engine, responsive handling and badass vibes. But there was a downside: the Turbo-R rode like a wild stallion, ready to buck unskilled drivers right out of the saddle. Only a real carjock could untap its potential. Amateur adrenaline junkies typically wound up losing control, hurting both themselves and their shiny, new Quadra.[2]
Acquisition
It can be acquired from the AUTOFIXER netpage for €$69,000.
Notes
- Prior to Patch 1.5 it cost €$129,000.
- Prior to the introduction of AUTOFIXER, Wakako Okada sold the car via a text message: "I have a Quadra Turbo for sale, parked at the attached coordinates. I suspect it will not stay available for long, since it is a good machine and there is no shortage of buyers. If life has taught me anything, it is to size an opportunity as soon as it appears, for it might only appear once. You can think about that while you gather the money to pay."
