Ingénue is a character in Cyberpunk RED.

Biography

Early life - 2020s

When Ingénue joined the Willow Sisterhood, she was bodysculpted to resemble Marilyn Monroe in her early Norma Jean days. During her graduation, Ingénue was supposed to get a resculpt of a classic blonde Marylin, but she never got the chance as the gang was wiped out during the Fourth Corporate War, with Ingénue being the only survivor. This event traumatized her, and when she returned to Night City, Ingénue fell into the bottle. To her, she had lost all purpose.

For the following years, Ingénue remained in a strong depression. To help her climb out of it, Marianne Freeman hired Ingénue in 2026 and tasked her to set up a support group for fellow female edgerunners and veterans survivors of the war. In helping others, Ingénue helped herself. She decided to name this group the Willows in honor of her fallen comrades.[2][1]

In April 21st 2028, Kiroshi kidnapped a young Trace Santiago to use as a bargaining chip in contract talks with the Aldecaldos. Nomad Santiago asked the Queen of Solos, Rogue Amendiares, for a retrieval, who in turn asked the Willows for help. After incurring the appropriate damage to the corp, they got Trace back.[2]

2045

Ever since the Fourth Corporate War, Ingénue became a regular of the Forlorn Hope bar.[2] By 2045, Ingénue was still leading the Willows.[1]

Notes

  • Ingénue is described as a quite, perceptive, and protective person.[1]
