Corpse Reviver
Corpse Reviver is a character in Cyberpunk RED.
Biography
Not much is known about Corpse Reviver's past, though what little is known indicates that she grew up in one of Night City's Combat Zones. She chose to rebel against her life of poverty and live a life of fake bliss and unending joy by joining the Piranhas, where she quickly rose to become the gang's leader after her predecessor died of overdose.
Under Corpse's leadership, the Piranhas transformed from partiers into the party makers. They absorbed several other two-bit party gangs, bringing them all together, embracing their talents, and organizing them into cells known as "shoals." Like her namesake, Corpse took the bloody remains of half-dozen burned-out gangs and raised them into a force capable of conquering the party scene of Night City, introducing the idea of what they would become over time, the reigning party monarchs of NC. She would not have been able to achieve this if not for her right-hand, Bazooka Joe, who took care of security and taught new members how to maintain the parties lively and safe. His network of contacts also allowed Corpse Reviver to acquire the starting blocks she needed to set off her party empire. While Joe acted as the muscle, Corpse was the brains of the gang. She was a great talker and an even better accountant, giving the Piranhas more contacts and organization while keeping them off the radar of nastier individuals. Both recruited members from clubs all throughout the metropolis.
During the following years, Corpse hired another notable member, Dirty Shirley, whose genius in making drugs rose the popularity of the Piranhas. While Corpse Reviver ran a tight ship, she relied on her lieutenants to keep each part of her system running smoothly. She managed them while they managed the recruits, and any time they run into trouble, Corpse step in to help. Whatever issues raised, Corpse Reviver also worked nonstop to raise other kids like herself out of the shittiest parts of the city and give them jobs. She called the gang her "big, fucked-up family;" meaning that maybe, underneath all the drugs, music and booze, there was someone wanting a palace to call home.[1]
