Chiba-11 is a location in Japan in Cyberpunk 2077.

Overview

Chiba-11 is one the poorest district within Japan, and is made up of slums and chemically polluted canals.[1]

Goro Takemura, who was eventually recruited by Saburo Arasaka in person to become his personal bodyguard, was born in this district.[2]

Chiba-11 was, and potentially still is, one of the most infamous slums in Japan due to having the highest murder rates in the country. The Arasaka Corporation would sometimes pick children from this district to be soldiers.
