Bits'n'Bolts

Bits'n'Bolts is a store located in the Pacifica district of southern Night City.

Overview

Bits'n'Bolts was a workshop that specialized in quick repairs for the low-income population, primarily local construction workers that needed on the spot repairs on smaller pieces of equipment and cyberware. The store also worked in salvaging defunct items. A scrolling marquee offered the daily deals and any surplus that they could be selling that same day.

BnB's exterior was made of concrete, with graffiti and stickers covering the front entrance and with a call box next to it. The front door, which opened upward, was a thick slab of steel that had once presumably belonged to either a tank or the framework of a military fortification. If someone rang, a blue light shined to indicate a camera turning on, then a voice asked the purpose of the visit before opening the door. Inside the workshop, Bits'n'Bolts was full of clutter, shelves with wire boxes, and walls with plenty of tools, some of which hanged from the ceiling. Most drawers had stickers to indicate what was inside. At the back of the workshop there was a table full of cyberware. A hallway led to another part of the building, full of more salvage, but also broken weapons and similar equipment. Overhead UV light gave this room a purple aura. Next to this area, to the left, there was a small office backroom where staff and visitors were able to talk business.
